Bismarck Service Department

Our Bismarck service department continues to grow adding new clients on a weekly basis. Our customers are pleased with the quick response time, efficiency of services provided, and competitive pricing. Our service department is focusing on lighting replacements/upgrades for our existing customers while providing access to utility sponsored rebate programs that provide generous incentives for upgrading old, outdated discharge lighting. In some cases these incentives will cover up to HALF the cost of the lighting upgrade. Customers who have taken advantage of this program are City Air Mechanical, Northwest Tire of Mandan, Country Auto Clinic, Seeds of Hope Thrift Store, and the Pinehurst Office Building. In January Mayer will begin a lighting upgrade for the North Dakota Association of Rural Electric Cooperatives offices located in Mandan. We have been requested to travel as far as Jamestown and Dickinson to provide these services.

Mayer Electric is proud to announce "Residence Inn by Marriott" with an award and continue with our on going projects.

Currently wiring the ninety-two unit, extended stay facility in Bismarck. Residence Inn will feature ninety-two guest rooms consisting of one and two bedroom suites. Rooms feature kitchenettes or full kitchens, cable television and high-speed internet (both wired and wireless). The facility also has a pool/spa area and workout room, business center and conference/banquet/dining facilities. Expanded guest laundry facilities are also available. Mayer Electric assisted in the redesign of the main electrical service to provide for dual metering resulting in reduced electrical usage costs in cooperation with the local utility. Projected completion is July 1st, 2012.

United Tribes Technical College

Nearing completion for phase one of the partial second floor shell space of the recently completed Science and Technology Center. This project added Computer and Chemistry labs as well as multimedia and “smartboard” technologies. Additional electrical infrastructure was installed in this phase for future build-out.

Mayer Electric is currently performing at the Minot Air Force Base as the electrical contractor FY09 Dorm project. The project is moving along flawless and will do so through closeout later this year. Mayer Electric is working with Graham Construction out of Minneapolis on this project .

Mayer Electric has expanded its capabilities with the addition of our sixth bucket/boom truck. The new rig has a working height of 85 feet and is more than capable to perform on pole lighting, sign repair or any other electrical work.
